The first series of training courses is now complete. An external training team trained our employees in three groups and they will attempt to put their training into practice during the implementation phase until the next series of training courses in February 2014.

The trainers used many practical examples to promote lively discussions to ensure that their execution was not too dull and gave the participants many smiles along the way. They explained the meaning of compliance and discussed the different areas (gifts and invitations, bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, tendering procedures, anti-monopoly legislation, trade secrets, etc.). Health and safety and industrial safety were also discussed, even although our company has been continuously providing training courses in this area for many years.

The trainers also presented our code of conduct in the training courses; this has already been printed and will be distributed to employees straight away.
