Conversion and assembly of bucket conveyor

Assembly of a new bucket conveyor works including the required chutes and channels with wear plate cladding.

The special challenge of this project was the fact that the new bucket conveyor needed to be assembled in very close quarters inside the existing plant and that the channels and chutes needed to be connected with the existing system.
Due to the confined spaces involved, no cranes or electrical lifting equipment were able to be used.
Another criterion was the shut-down period of the existing system and the time to complete the implementation work.
The work was completed in shifts and the production and deliver was "just in time" due to the short shut-down phase.
